Holbox

Fine, you already know about Holbox and maybe have eaten there already as it might be trendiest restaurant in Los Angeles. If you can even call it a restaurant, as it is in the Mercado la Paloma food court near USC. They serve Mexican coastal seafood dishes and they are all great.

I first ate there in December, 2019 right before the world shut down. There was a line, but it was no big deal. So I ate there every time I went to LA.

The last time I was in LA in 2025 the line on Friday night was maybe 60 deep, so I decided to try Saturday night, but the line was more like 100 deep. So if you go, make sure it is during an off hour.
