Scarr's Pizza

I ate at Scarr's pizza in 2017 or so before it was found by all the instagram weirdos. It was just another great place on the LES. The slices were the best I had tried up to that time.

Now there are lines and the wrong people are there, so I am not sure I will go again. But you should go at least once since it is the second best slice in NYC. It might be the best but it has a slight greasy taste to it.

My friend whose pizza obsession tops mine says that hint of grease is on purpose, that they want the slice to taste slightly nostalgic. I do not know if that is true or not, but it would annoy me if it was true.
